For the 2024 edition, 56 ice cream shops located all around the city will take part from April 18 to 24 in this crazy taste adventure. The concept is simple: each store will offer visitors a scoop of ice cream featuring a special, unique flavor for the modest price of 1,50€. It’s a simple, but gourmet way to explore the streets and neighborhoods of Berlin while treating yourselfat the same time!
For the occasion, our editorial team prepared a list of seven places participating in the Berliner Gelato Week that also serve tasty original ice creams year-round.
Recognizable by the golden upside-down cone on its front door, this ice-cream shop offers a range of surprising and innovative flavor combinations inspired by traditional Italian and Argentinian recipes. "Pineapple and Parsley", "Lime, Coriander and Chili", and "Baked Sweet Potato" are among the most original flavors on the menu.
Chipi Chipi Bombón’s ice creams are homemade from organic hay-milk (vegan and lactose-free options are also offered).
Bonus: You can eat your ice cream scoop in a hot toasted brioche bun, for a unique hot-and-cold tasting experience!

Mentioned by The Guardian in a top 20 of Europe’s best ice cream shops, Süßfein currently has two shops (located in Mitte and in Prenzlauer Berg). Here they sell homemade ice creams, waffles and cakes. Their menu changes regularly with the seasons, but never ceases to surprise with innovative, carefully crafted flavor combinations such as "White Chocolate, Tonka Beans and Cashews", "Mango Sticky Rice", or "Moscow Mule".
Bonus: For something even more gourmet, enjoy your ice cream on a Baumstriezel (traditional spit cake)!

Artigiani has two shops in Berlin where you can enjoy flavory homemade natural Italian gelato. The proposed flavor combinations are very interesting and unusual, and the classics, perfectly executed. Among the original flavors offered, you can find "Butter, Sage and Nutmeg", "Pink Guava with Chili", or "Crème Brûlée".
"A Night in India" (a vegan ice cream with oriental spices, a pinch of chili and crunchy cashews) – available at the shop in Matterhornstraße;
"Mediterraneo" (olive oil, rosemary infusion and fresh lemon zest) – available at the shop location "Unter den Eichen".
Bonus: The "Mediterraneo" flavor won first place at the Carpigiani Challenge, organized in Giessen last February. This competition was challenging the best gelaterie of Germany as part ofthe Gelato Festival World Masters 2022-2025.

With its six ice cream shops found in many parts of the city, Spoonful will delight both classic lovers and experience-seeking gourmet. Here, the classic fragrances are deliciously revisited with slight twists, and more original tastes are also offered, such as "Tahini and Halva", "Strawberry-Daiquiri", or "Cinnamon".

Open in Berlin since 2010, Die Eismacher will seduce the travelers and adventurers among you. Inspired by international cuisine, their menu presents some very unique flavors, like "Ube", "Pandan" or "Buffalo Ricotta with Persian Cassis Figs".

Located in Mitte and in Charlottenburg, Katchi Ice Cream will delight everyone with its delicious ice creams, sorbets, sundaes, shakes, and bubble-waffles. Committed to a sustainable production, powered by renewable energy, they also ensure that many flavors offered on the menu are plant-based. Here, you can enjoy very tasty combinations such as "Pomegranate Mascarpone", "Peanut Butter Cookie with Blueberry Jam", or "Sticky Coco" (a creamy coconut sorbet with sticky rice and raspberry and mango coulis).
Bonus: Doggos are more than welcome at this ice cream shop: fresh water and special "Katchi Paw Edition" ice cream are available for our furry friends!

Located in the heart of Mitte since 2013, Cuore di Vetro is the perfect blend of Italian gelateria quality and Berlin's unique artistic and creative vibe. Here, you will find a wide variety of homemade ice creams and sorbets. Behind their intriguing and mysterious names, you will discover bold blends of flavors, such as "Mudhoney" (fresh ricotta, organic goat milk, honey and caramelized cashews) or "Black Star" (chestnut cream with chocolate-tobacco ganache).
Bonus: Cuore di Vetro is not only an ordinary ice cream shop, but also a lovely place to enjoy art exhibitions and live music shows!
