When the European Cup kicks off and you want to be at the heart of the spectacle, there is no better place to experience it than Brandenburger Tor. The so-loved fan zone (or fan mile) will once again be set up, stretching from Tiergarten all the way to the Brandenburger Tor. The gate will transform into a massive goal and the entire mile will become its field with grass laid out all over the area. German matches will be broadcast on a large screen, making you feel like you're right on the field. The place will also be turned into an open-air cinema screening football-themed movies.

The second fan zone will take place at the Platz der Republik, featuring live broadcasts of all 51 matches on a large screen, along with DJ sets, performances, and concerts. A “small Olympic stadium” will be built to facilitate an authentic stadium experience. Join the vibrant atmosphere, every day from 2 PM until midnight.

A popular spot and one of the largest beer gardens in Berlin is the Café am Neuen See. Here, you will be able to enjoy the game along with friends and football lovers, accompanied by great scenery and quality German beer. Also, don’t miss out on their renowned food options.

A true EM experience is what you get at Die Stachelschweine (engl. the Porcupines). A program called Pfostenbruch has been put in place to celebrate football and everything that comes with it. Alongside large screens airing matches, you will find talks and discussions with comedians, stars and public figures from the sports world, either neutrally observing or passionately biased. There will be food and music inspired by the participating countries. You couldn’t ask for a better EM package.

Wintergarten Varieté is a great alternative to the daily beer garden experience. In their stunning location, you can enjoy the matches, along with good drinks, fine food and pleasant company. This is a much more charming and elegant way to cheer on your favorite team.

At the World Chess Club, you’ll find much more than chess this season. Get ready to watch football textbook-style. Green grass, chairs, hotdogs, and beer with good vibes is what is to expect here.

For a cultured game-watching experience, head to The Französischen Dom right in the center of Berlin, just a few hundred meters off the fan mile. The summer garden of their restaurant Hugo&Notte offers a laid-back atmosphere under shade-throwing trees, offering cold beer and BBQ. Located right next to the Gendarmenmarkt, it is a perfect place of you’re looking for a central spot without the hustle of the Brandenburg Gate. Best of all, entrance is free!

The Naumanns Biergarten is known for its spacious terrace, great vibes, and an almost festival-like setting. The garden is covered by a roof made out of canva, decorated with lightbulbs and a fireplace in the corner. Naumanns invites fans to watch the game on the big screen with beer and antipasti, creating a laid-back atmosphere. Reservations can be made only for matches not involving the German team.

The shopping mall Krazler Eck, situated right next to Kurfürstendamm metro station, offers a public viewing in the roofless center of the building. 200 deck chairs are invited to a laid-back football experience to celebrate the football fever with friends and family.
